The camera on the 1+X remains awful.

All my DSLR photos previously here were on a Nikon D7100 and D3200.

And back to the proper* camera
*Oly E-620. Though I am a bit annoyed at the noise even at 200 ISO.. upgrade is beckoning...but that glass.. sigh.
I need to wait for Sony to recover from the Kumamoto quake as I want the sensor from the GX8 in an Oly body, then it's a question of whether I go the OM-D EM-1 route and re-use my current glass or if I just fully embrace the mini camera approach and wait for newer versions of the EM-5, which seems to be analogous to my current E-620 (which I absolutely adore, noise be damned).
Was also very tempted to jump to Pentax K1, but too many flaws just yet. Maybe the mk2.

what flaws?
Auto Focus for the most part, also some software issues with the motion compensation option for the multi shot/sensor shift mode meaning you have to use their software, at least at the start of your pipepline. I'm sure the latter will be patched before too long, but AF is going to need a mk2.
Sounds like you will benefit from an A7R. I'm going to the Royal International Air Tattoo with the D500 tomorrow, it's a big step up from the D7100.
