Stacked a Cokin drop in filter and a Zomei without the right sized filter adapter. Had some light bleed even though I covered the viewvfinder hence I opted for B+W instead of colour.

Can't see a photo?
fixed it.
We actually had some good weather over a bank holiday for once, so I managed to get this photo of the Andromeda galaxy on Monday night. Conditions weren't great, although there were no clouds it was very hazy, but I've not done any astrophotography for months due to the short summer nights so it was good practice! Click the pic for acquisition details and full size image.

So. I'm back in the US of A and it's rutting season.. spotted this guy on the golf course late evening and tried to get as close as possible, but he kept wandering away. Stood still enough for him to come within range of 640mm
Light decided to disappear behind the mountains so stuck shooting ISO51200
Hopefully get a battle or 2 during the day

Fuji Superia 200. Manual focus, forgot which camera it was tho. Maybe FM3A?
It's pretty thirsty work having a harem of female elk at 7,500ft
