nice lighting setup on that one m8y :), not sure about the distortion you've got by using the wide angle approach tho'..
a square crop will help focus on the sitter rather than having the eye wander up the stairs following the stair rail?

some nice pics of damsel flies, but you need to close up your aperture to get more in focus when coming in close to your subject..
