its not too bad, i use it at Airshows (x2 tele makes it 140-400), Weddings, Gigs, Sports events, Family functions...

having a hard time getting focus that night?

This is about the best I could do with my kit lens

well caught , this time of year is prolly a good time to go looking for insects, they'll be slow from the colder temps

unfortunately yes

Its been a while since i did any gig photos, and i forgot any settings that i used there the time before... so i was having issues in that dept. then realised that my camera was on MF instead of AF... hence alot of blur...

it was also one of the first times smoke had been used at this venue whilst i was there, and although there wasnt alot of smoke it kinda threw me off and if im honest, it wasnt the best learning experience

it wasnt the best shoot ive done... but my heart wasnt quite in it for some reason, i just wanted to get it done and go home... which i did, hence the photo was on here at 5 to 10...
