Really poor lighting tonight, was shooting ISO6400!
Still came out okay. Wonder if any REAL guitar buffs know who it is

I realise this is a question with many answers but supposing I wanted to buy a quality camera that's going to produce something like the results in this thread for under £1k what would you recommend please? Thanks

^That's really cool, have you zoomed in while on a long exposure?

yep start in close and zoom out, not a particularly long exposure (c1.5-2 secs?).
Its just sometimes tricky to judge how quickly to turn the zoom (so you don't end up with too long at the wide end of the zoom), plus doing it handheld in the freezing cold concious of your train about to leave doesn't help
Ooh, that reminds me of a trip to Japan last year
The flight over was amazing
But I'm really gutted I forgot to lower the ISO when I took these - previous night was taking some of the engines and twilight.

Urban jungle, concrete forest... I even posted it under that title on another forum.
That's China though - where I lived in Edinburgh was very different. After this experience I don't think I'll live in a tower block again if I can help it.
Wildly off topic where are you in China, brammers? I'm off to China on Thursday Flying to Hong Kong then off to Chengdu in Szechuan region for a week.
