Taken in December on the way to work, a couple of hundred metres out of our drive - quite the sunrise.
EDIT - Hmm, not sure why my link won't display... will try another host.
Such a nice picture....Like it.
From when I was in Colorado last year. Nothing like waking up early and heading into the mountains :)

A couple of years ago was gifted an old 1000mm mirror lens - This morning I decided to stick 2x tele on and shoot for the moon!
https://photographs.rjwhetton.co.uk/...7D-Mark-II.jpg
I always liked big "guns" but never found myself in a financial place where i could afford to get one.
TBH i haven't even gotten a tele converter, i almost did for my Minolta back in the day ( late 80 / early 90ties )
My dream is to go big in the lotto, get big still and video kit, and just travel the world and shoot stuff.
Maybe tonight my luck change,,,,, or rather maybe tonight i get lucky,,,, period.
Miss weddings

Either pollutions worse than I thought or it looks like there's a bit of a strange colour cast on those.
Had this guy following me around while I was gardening

Puma out of RAF Benson
https://photographs.rjwhetton.co.uk/...7D-Mark-II.jpg
Amazing photo. Especially the bear! Wondering how the photo was taken? Drone or personal presence? If personal presence, how quickly did you have to run away from the bear?:shocked2:
Sun was out, so I did some gardening and this guy showed up looking for bugs :)
Grabbed the camera..
https://photographs.rjwhetton.co.uk/...7D-Mark-II.jpg
Flumping hell, that shot of the robin is incredible! Kudos, Bobster from a fellow Dorset guy!
The Puma takes me back to my school days when I was in the RAF cadets, had a ride in a Puma and a Wessex during summer CCF camps. On one of the camps my mate won cadet of the week and had a flight in the back of a BAe Hawk trainer. He was enjoying it, right up until the point he lost his lunch all over his flight overalls :D
A photo I took of Snowdon in Wales last year. Taken on my Canon 6D Mark II

Wow, Bobster I love that photo of the robin. Incredible to see all the textures in its feathers.

My favourite place in the world. Cornwall
Thanks guys, Robins can't help themselves when you're gardening, they just have to come see what you might have disturbed that they can eat :)

Nice, well spotted.
Out in the garden trying to capture a Wildcat flying into the nearby P.O.L station. Noticed someone watching me in the bush.

Facebook reminded me that it's been 8 years since I got in the pit with The Wildhearts!
https://photographs.rjwhetton.co.uk/...902-21027D.jpg
Love The Wildhearts! A mate of mine got me into them when we were 6th formers back in the early 90's. Favourite tracks, Bobster? Mine are probably TV Tan and Suckerpunch :)
Ahh Earth vs huh?

Love the colour and the cloud illumination on that one!

Nice moon shots Bob, have you ever tried stacking ?? Astro imagers would take a short video and stack the individual frames....
https://scontent-lcy1-1.xx.fbcdn.net...EQ&oe=6396FD5B
wow, is that a telescope image?
Yes, one of my old ones, IIRC it was a 500mm F5 scope with a 2x Barlow, directly onto the Nikon body. Took something like 100 images rapid fire and stacked in Registax. Im too old and knackered to handle a big scope now, so Im just limited to a camera lens.... I do have a 500mm F8 mirror on a Tamron adaptall Nikon adaptor that works reasonably well if you ignore the kidney beaning effect.
Been a couple of years since the last EHM. Good to be back! :D

lots of photos to go through after I finish editing all the paid shoots :)
Lovely clear sky last night before I went to bed. Didn't spend to long outside -6C and didn't have anything warm to hand.
https://photographs.rjwhetton.co.uk/...4482-X-H2S.jpg
Can almost see my house! Oops I have already said to much
Need to get myself a telescope at some point, the moon is so interesting to look and would love to be able to see details. But yeah, brrrrr well done for getting this one!
You could always get a telescope like this https://www.jessops.com/p/celestron/...RoCrkwQAvD_BwE
Controlled via an app...sit indoors & keep warm whilst gaving at the stars :)
Fancy! I was more thinking something cheap and second hand! We've got those Juliet balcony (read pointless) things in our living room so I would like to sit in a chair with the double doors open looking through a telescope and enjoying a glass of brandy. Think I need to buy brandy as well, and a suitable glass. We can all dream though!
Proud son moment, when he spotted mum for first time as she walked down the isle :)

So glad this thread is back!
I take pics of beautiful things. This thread is a reminder of the real talent some people use to take beautiful photographs.
