ok fair enough man. what's the limit on the amount you can post?

main clues in the title, photo a day, ie 1 unless you have some really good stuff its been agreed on 3, but really goods not random shots of joe bloogs walking down the street or his other halfs arse bent over. just wasting bandwidth with those in here tbh.

One from Taronga Zoo in Sydney a while back. Shot at ISO 3200 and 1/13 second at f/4. The image quality is rather good, all things considered. It was very dark in the indoor enclosure.

I don't know what the bird is, but I'm pretty sure it's a native Australian species. We didn't bother with the usual giraffes, elephants, and chimps. Just the Australian stuff. I think it was just after we left this enclosure that I dropped my Sigma 50-500mm.

I was there too! Stunning shot. This display was definitely a highlight for me, and a surprise as I didn't bother with a program Did you stay for the Cygnet flight?

Thanks. Yea I did catch it, but I'd packed up my gear though and missed a primo shot of it flying out of the crescent moon. Had a wander through the bird sanctuary too. This guy couldn't look much meaner:

Quality pic. not much places in london that have air shows. Did u use a tele-converter for that shot or straight 200mm on your lens?

That's the bare 70-200mmL, pretty much all you need at Old Warden, although longer will get you more head-on approach shots.

Light in the gemini shot is very nice.

Apart from being a new type for me, the light in that shot is everything. Don't mind saying I'm quite proud of it (all due credit to the Sun and other environmental phenomena )

@ Yamangman, not half! I always like seing the Hart/Demon/Glad, but always find good shots hard to pull off for some reason. I find more and more that I get my favourite shots outside of the show proper, having a gorgeous place like OW to shoot at doesn't half help.
