    Digital Camera

    Hey all

    Am looking to buy a new digital camera as am going to a concert reasonably soon and as ive wanted to see the band for so long i decided ill take lots of pictures.

    Only thing is, am a complete noob when it comes to cameras, im looking for decent picture quality and a decent zoom aswell.

    Currys - Shop for Digital Camera - Casio EX-Z77 Digital Camera

    what do people think of the above?

    Concert = dark

    So you will want one with good low light shooting. The Fuji line is your best bet from what I've heard. I don't know the model numbers of the current favourites, but i'm sure someone else will pitch in.

    3x optical zoom is standard, ignore digital zoom, forget it even exists

    Re: Digital Camera

    gutted cus thats a propper good camera for £200. i would say not to get an olympus as they seem to have quite alot of "noise" within a dark picture. the samsung S1080 on the other hand is a crackin little camera. my brother has one and its video, sound and picture quality are all really good to be fair considerin the price range and it also takes AA batteries which would be useful if you are takin it to a gig cus if the batteries run out u can always have another set to hand.

    Re: Digital Camera

    you mean the S1050 or the S1030? there doesn't seem to be a 1080 at all.
