    New Camera Pics!

Being the generous sort, I took the girlfriend up to Aviemore for Valentines.

Armed with a 4x4, TomTom, D200 and a sigma 10-20 I aimed for a couple of the big lochs to take some pics.

The d200 is a brilliant camera. Much better than my d70, bigger, stronger and much easier to use, not to mention the 5 fps

Anyway, enjoy, c&c welcome as always.

Nice pics. Just got a D40 and the difference compared to a non DSLR is massive.

    Re: New Camera Pics!

These are my thoughts when i saw the pictures

    1. Wow thats pretty cool
    2. Not as good as the first but still very good
    3. That's awesome.
    4. I think my jaw dropped to the floor

all in all, stunning photos. What kind of processing have they had done to them if any, i don't know much about photography so i can't tell by looking.

    Re: New Camera Pics!

I've still to feed them through photoshop to correct a few dustspots I've noticed and straighten up some of the horizons. I quickly processed them in lightroom but tbh those posted are out of jalbum which I feel doesn't quite cut it with it's web image optimisation.

The max EV for a bracket increment is 1.

So if you want +2 and -2 then you need to set it to take 5 frames.

    The option is "5F 1.0" and it will do 0, -2, -1, +1 and +2.

Check the appendix of the manual for charts with all the bracketing exposure combinations listed

    PS: love photo 3

They all look great for having very little processing. I love #3! Well thought out.
