i wouldn't get a 28-300 its not as sharp as the 28-200

if you want to get something to 300 go for a 70-300

Personally I wouldnt go for a 70-300, I have a tamron f4.5-5.6 and it rarely comes out of my bag, I just never seem to have a use for it, thats just me though.
