£50 Pocket camera required for Fishing Trips

    Lo people.

The old man has a boat, goes out and catch's fish and wants to take photo's of them. Fair play.

He stole my Dimage Z10 and didn't tell me it was going out on the boat.. I have it back now for fear of losing it forever to Neptune.

What I'd like to find for him in a pocket digi. We're not expecting the world, but good reviews always help. Battery life will be important, and colour and speed over resolution prolly too, because those boats do roll in permanently.

Very open to suggestions, but would prefer NEW.

And one got a little pocket "not too worried about it, take it to party's/hill walking/skiing" kinda camera that they can advise as being worthy?

    Thanks in advance

Canon Powershot a series if you can. Try and get a cheapy from the ebay Canon Outlet. Failing that check out Argos Clearance Bargains (Sony, Casio and Panasonics are usually available) or Fuji's store for bargains.
