Yeah, We don't have to press any buttons to charge at 200mA and the batteries last longer. Anyway if I wanted to kill the batteries quicker my Technoline can charge at 2A.
Edit: I lied...... It does 1800mA.
mmm, I've had 7day's own brand and they fizzled out too soon. Had some luck though: ordered 8 Eneloop AAs from 7day and 3 of them were damaged (although all 3 are functional only 1 will fit into some holders). e-mailed re. problem, saying that I had pics. of the damage - no pics or return demanded and a few days later another 8 arrived!
I save cells until there are 4 to recharge then it takes a decent time in my (cheap) charger.
BTW, trying some of Aldidl's (can't remember which) AA LSD cells, but too early to say yet.
I've a clock that dips out at ~0.95V so worth trying an Eneloop - 7 months so far. If it lasts a year I've saved 99p/12-recharge cost of an alkaline cell!

Re: Any better battery charger?
are those uniross batteries LSDs ? They don't mention it.
If we're talking batteries, I have a mix of LSDs:
Hybrio / Eneloop / Recycko
and have lost a few hybrios (I chuck batteries when they go down to half capacity) but no eneloops or recyklos

GP recyckos are cheaper and slightly higher capacity than eneloops.
