    Moon - 17th September 2011

Tried out a new technique this weekend in processing my images. Combination of Registax, Lightroom Enfuse and a little Photoshop to bring out the detail. Found video seems to give a very good final result in clarity and sharpness for these shots.

    3M-5CA + 2x Adapter - ISO 200 F16, 1/30 + AVCHD 1080p Stacked.

Good start, although the wavelet function has been pushed a tad too far for my tastes...

The guys at UK astro imaging would be quite happy to help with tips if you are serious about astrotogging

Cheers g8ina. I wasn't really sure what I was doing with the wavelet function to be honest I let it do the auto thing. What's the best way of using the wavelet?

I do remember your moon pics. They look uber. I'll have to sign up on UK astro I think and have a read there

For what it's worth my pic has been entered into Capture Cure 2011.

The top 36 images to get 'liked' will go for submission where you can buy the image as a print. The proceeds go towards fighting cancer. So if you are on facebook etc please 'likey' the image. Mucho thanks if you do.

Time to read up on this more so now g8ina. Thanks again for the comments. I'm still learning these things.

EDIT: Also noticed on your pics it saying 'mosaic' etc... So for the one you took in January you said mosaic over 20 frames. How does that work? are each of the 20 frames made up of smaller pictures?
