Xmas prezzie camera for wife - help!

Chrimbo shopping and can't find something that ticks all the boxes she has requested be ticked below. Any suggestions? Looking for snapper around the £100 mark which has a 10X optical zoom, takes normal AA or AAA batteries and has easily accessible SD card slot?

AA battery is good for quick replacement with no charger needed (as I'm sure you know). I have a camera that was supplied with 2 AA alkaline cells and decided that, even with 8 for a quid, it was a bit wasteful.
Tried rechargeable NiMH battery - few shots and Battery Low came on and then it died. Tried Sanyo Eneloop and got ~200 shots with about 50 of those using flash.
Nice thing about low-self-discharge cells is that you can carry a pack of, say, 4 and they'll still be OK in a year's time.

Thanks for tips. I ended up going for a Canon SX120 IS. Discontinued model but still available on Amazon and getting good reviews.
