    Just bought my first DSLR camera tips etc

    Just been down to jessops and picked up a canon eos 1000d dslr, Managed to talk the missus into it over a lumix tz20 Cost me £249.99.

    So how do i get the best out of my camera are there any major tips i need to know.

    I found the best way, is to just get outside and start using. Play around with all the settings. Just go nuts basically, and learn by doing

    Seemed to work slightly better for me doing it like that.
