    Re: Olympus OM-D E-M5 preview

    Freaky name.. but otherwise. Nice.

Wish Oly weren't going fully behind m4/3rds, but they seem to have built up a great lens range already. Question is, (down the line) do I switch to m4/3rds or a different system? Both would be slightly painful.

    Re: Olympus OM-D E-M5 preview

My first introduction to photography was with an OM-1, my grandfather could turn one of the bedrooms in to a dark room, great fun, but quite expensive!

When I had the money for a DSLR, I really wanted full frame, but couldn't justify it, lately, the past 2 generations of sensors in particular I'm more of the mind that smaller sensor, smaller glass is the way forward.

With these micro 4/3rds been more than capable of doing very large prints, I'm thinking they are quite the future too........

I had an OM1, and then an OM2. Lovely cameras! I lost interest in film photography until the first point and click digitals came out, and then as the technology advanced, I promised myself a full frame DSLR when I could afford it.

    I bought a second hand EOS 5D Mk1 18 months ago - and I haven't been disapointed!

It brought back a lot of the fun!
