who to host with, flickr, photobucket or picassa

as i host my email with google i decided to use picasa to backup my picture collection, i paid the additional $5.75 for 20gb storage as thats all i need for now if i keep hold of my raw collection and just upload jpg's of them but picasa 3.9 is pushing you toward google+ making it a bit harder to share pics as they seem to want everyone to be a G+ member.

i love the tagging features where it recognises the faces etc, but with G+ you can't see them online and anyone you tag gets sent an email telling them they have been tagged and then they have to accept it.. grr.

just wondering what the experts use and if you pay for the premium accounts, also i would like a bit of feedback about usability as i love the way picasa can manage and sync everything.

Flickr officially supports JPEGs, non-animated GIFs, and PNGs. You can also upload TIFFs and some other file types, but they will automatically be converted to and stored in JPEG format.

Flickr does not accept RAW files or any of the proprietary raw formats, such as CR2 for Canon.

yep, getting to grips with picassa & G+, as i don't really share stuff unless its the odd link i don't see the need for other sites, my email, phone etc all use some form of google and i don't mind hosting pictures on there as well.

if i lost my pc, NAS and rack server in 1 hit i have high quality jpg's to fall back on.
