    New Camcorder <£100?

Right my mum is hellbent on getting a camcorder for my sisters birthday to capture moments of her daughter etc, now from what i can see this budget isnt the greatest and the results seem very... meh . The camcorders at this level seem to just not offer much, she has a htc wildfire S which i would assume video quality would be average as are these dedicated units, im going to try and grab it off her at some point to see for myself but in the mean time ive been trying to get a shortlist of possible purchases

so far i have the following:
    Sony MHS-TS20K (available for £70)
    Kodak PlaySport Zx5 (£83)
    Samsung W200 (£90)
    Samsung W300 (£115)

Not really sure how to decide as nothing really jumps out as a bargain, my views are skewed a bit as my Optimus 2x cost me £168 and from what i have seen the video recording is far superior .

Any suggestions? She needs something thats portable easy to shove in her handbag and just get out and record, point and shoot really, still shots are not important as she already has a digital camera for that.
    Any helps appreciated!

What about a compact camera that does HD video? Like the Canon Ixus 115HS?

My dad recently bought one o' these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JVC-GZHM30...-/330730918634

720p rather than full HD, but the picture quality was excellent (from my admittedly very short testing). 40x optical zoom is pretty good too! Battery life is a weakness but 3rd party batteries are cheap on ebay and you can get very high capacity ones (but they are physically large and hang off the end of the camcorder)

There's also ths one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAMSUNG-Q1...-/360472031721 which gets good reviews and is advertised as full HD (I've read elsewhere that it's only 1080i). To get it under £100 it's a refurb however.

The Argos ebay outlet has a lot of options both new and refurbs under £100!
