    DSLR Canon 550 vs nikon 5200

    so i got some ppi money through and am going to invest in a camera, i want to be able to also record in HD,

    does anyone have any recomendations on the above too ?

    erm, are you sure you mean the 5200? Isn't that a very old point and click?

    Presumably 3200.

    Go to a shop and pick the one that you feel most comfortable with.

    If its against the 3200, then the 3200 is a much better camera, no contest on terms of quality.

    But if he wants video, the 550 has a mike input....
