As above, came home to an unexpected £70, so I'm thinking of spending it on something for my camera.
Current top runners are a nifty fifty or a copy of LR4.
Opinions? (or should I get neither and get something else/nothing )

LR4 definitely - you've seen how good it is, and if you're already using the beta for cataloguing it'll be an inconvenience to switch to another editor.
What nifty fifty can you get for £70?
needs more than 70 for a tripod..

Yeah, got a new reinstall, so have another 30 days before making up my mind
I was just looking at the f/1.8
Nope.
Went to the Olympics last night, and was really lacking in the distance department with my 18-55, so I'm tempted to save the money and start getting some money together for a half decent longer lens.
Buy a 1.8 50mm, LR4 will improve your workflow, the 50mm 1.8 will improve your photography.
Not sure if they are down to £70 new yet, but loads on the bay and photography forums. Hands down the best lens you will buy to improve your photography at this price.

Under Development...
Surely it will be influenced by your photography preferences - close up filters/extension tubes for macro stuff, reflector or similar for portrait work, printer for printing A3+ (I like bigger prints), decent photo printing paper.
A tripod is a great asset (so is a small bag of sand and a flat surface) and you will also probably enjoy both longer and shorter lenses. Finally you could get a photography manual or magasine subscription.
More important, enjoy your photography
