Re: 7D Firmware 2.0 (NEW)
I had this flagged to do last night but got caught up, I'll be doing mine later when I get chance but I'm pleased with some of the new improvements.
Re: 7D Firmware 2.0 (NEW)
Given it a try yet Rox0r?
Re: 7D Firmware 2.0 (NEW)
Not as yet but if the weather holds I fancied a trip to Chatsworth on Saturday with the missus so it'll get a thorough going over then (The camera, not the missus...well...maybe the missus, depends how good the firmware is!)

Thanks for letting us know, put on my list of things to do now
Re: 7D Firmware 2.0 (NEW)
Weather turned out nice for a day at Chatsworth so I got to give the new firmware a roadtest. The simple improvement in speed for scrolling while chimping is most appreciated.
Just happened to be an archery display on while we were there and it proved an ideal test of the improved burst rates, I was using RAW+JPG at max and managed these so I could've done better if I'd sacrificed RAW.

Re: 7D Firmware 2.0 (NEW)
so you machine gunned the shooting?
Re: 7D Firmware 2.0 (NEW)
hehe see what you did there...yup, I think I might have distracted them a bit too, sounded like an MG34 opening up on them.
The middle chap was a right poser and kept hesitating as I'd started a burst just to be a sod, wasted a lot of buffer space on him.

To be fair he was probably waiting for absolute quietness. If he had a light clicker set up then he might need to listen for it rather than feel it (and thus know when to release to get the length of the draw accurate).
