Not impressed - not a hell of a lot of difference between the K-30 and the alleged top of the range K-5 IIs. I'd hoped for more. My K-5 and DA*16-50 might stay for my wet weather/winter walks but everything else might go to fund a change.
Photokina is not yet here - there seems to be persistant rumours of the K3. Its either a 35MM frame or APS-C frame 24MP camera it seems. Nice,to see Pentax have a 560MM lens out.
The K5 IIs is interesting as it has no AA filter.
So basically its just a better sensor, but we don't know how much, and a better autofocus.
Given that I've not had any issues with the autofocus, can't see the point! However, hopefully they will have more dynamic range or something similar.
But either way, boring news.

DPReview finally review them:

It only took 6 months!
It's impressive that they still were able to give it a gold award, however I still can not understand the conclusions dpreview make for score.
For instance, compare the K5-IIs to the 650D on dpreview on the breakdown score part, it makes absolutely no sense. The 650d main benefit is its half the price, and obviously fails massively on image quality. Yet on their metric it appears almost identical.
However the main breakdown is brilliant.
