Soft Light Boxs?
I'm looking for a soft light box that I can place model figures inside that are from 8 to 12 inches tall. I'm not looking to spend much, I seen some on eBay for £29 that comes with a box and two lights and a stand for the camera.
So somewhere around that price range would be nice if possible. It's not needed for work related things, just my own hobby so I can take some nice photos to share to my blog.
I have zero skills in photography other then common sense. :p
Any suggestions please?
Thank you

Re: Soft Light Boxs?
pop into your local Sainsburys/Tesco/ASDA and get a large box - cut the sides out (leaving say 2-3cm of gap to help rigidity) then grab some large tracing paper (could use grease proof baking paper) and cover the holes.
then grab 2 desktop lamps with some high wattage bulbs and place them either side facing toward the holes
start shooting away :)

Re: Soft Light Boxs?
I've got one that came from http://www.theflashcentre.com/. Cost me about £15, but that was on the last day of FOCUS a few years back, and didn't include lights. It folds flat when not in use, and can be assembled in well under a minute.
I then built a larger one using much the method Bobster mentioned, but better materials (lightweight wooden frame, not cardboard. And a couple of cheap manual flashguns and slave triggers. Result is a cheap, light and portable studio, and within reason, you can build ion the size you want it.
