Some cracking photos there, you can see the curvature of earth! It makes you wonder who's going to get there first.. Evans/Le Blanc Top Gear or Clarkson, May and Hammond for a drag race..!

Very nice... we have a similar process underway about 15 miles from where I live... The new Runcorn/Widnes bridge... I will see if I can get some photo's of it in the near future.

Nice photos Rob_B. I was just on holiday up there last week visiting relatives in inverkeithing - We were staying in a property in the middle of the woods on the right on the bottom picture. Had to navigate the cones and google map navigation was completely screwed. Ended up going over the old crossing twice trying to find the junction we wanted! Nice views of the old rail bridge and construction though!

A lovely day for a trip on the forth :)

I was driving over the bridge last week and i swear the new crossing doesn't look like it will meet up. it looks to me like one section is lower than the other bit it is due to meet. :o

Do you think they know?

The BBC documentary on the existing Road bridge is on BBC4 at the moment until 9pm

Took a break on Thurs and headed into Salisbury Plain for a 4 ship of Chinooks, unfortunately they didn't drop at my location, but they did pass overhead.
