What style is this image?
What 'style' would you call this image (which I shot, and processed yesterday):

Tyneside Car Sales (South Shields) by dankellys, on Flickr
The reason I ask is, this is the sort of thing I am into, I really like the slightly surreal, slightly over-processed look (especially with disused/abandoned builings and areas) and would like to join some groups on Flickr with similar sort of things. I dont think it would be classed as HDR as it was done using just one shot, then certain aspects edited individually, but I may be wrong. Any advise, or any recommended groups, would be great.
Re: What style is this image?
Dan, I rather like this one, it has a washed out grungy feel to it. Ive also taken a peek at some of your other pics at Flickr, and note that you still offer the full size originals for viewing. I think this is a bit dangerous as anyone can download full res images... I'd limit it to 1024 as max available.
Re: What style is this image?
Cheers for the advice David, I have made the changes to my settings.
Thanks, glad you like it. I have seen many photos like this on the internet, but this was actually my first attempt at doing it myself. Any idea what you would call the style of that image?

Re: What style is this image?
fake hdr might work better then? HDR-effect? I wouldn't put it past flickr group names not to have much to do with the actual technique. High micro-contrast is what is usually going on to create those kind of images though even if people aren't really aware of it, you can use various filters or to be honest playing about with various combinations of unsharp masks does the same thing.
Re: What style is this image?
Cheers, I have joined a few HDR groups, as it does seem to have the most in common with those. Thanks again.
