A very good and fair point, but I still feel it is a little bit of a shame that her work has only been discovered and revealed after her death. It was obviously something she enjoyed and could possibly have even made a living from, but instead saw out her days working as a nanny (which she may also have loved, don't get me wrong!).
EDIT: Would also like to add to that. I also do it because I enjoy it and at the end of the day thats all that really matters. But I still like to get oher peoples opinions on my shots, not for praise but more for the criticism. I am new to photography, and the criticism is what I learn from. I have learnt a hell of a lot from posting my photos on forums such as this one, a lot more than I would have learnt from reading any book or manual.
