Photo Book recommendations

Can anybody recommend a good place to get a photo book?

I'm looking at some of the online options right now but it's quite difficult to tell them apart so a customer recommendation would be very helpful.

Wanting to get our wedding photos put in a nice album...

Sorry I didn't see this last night - will check tonight who we did some with. We wouldn't use it for something really important, but it was really cheap (+groupon voucher?) and the result was OK. For an official album we'd go to the photographer and have him do it as he prints his own and they were noticeably better than the online ones (or the photographers who just use the online ones..) - but we didn't do the official album thing.

I haven't made a photo book but I have used snap fish to make a calendar a few times now which have come out nice. They always have discount codes for 30,40 or50% as well. If there is a choice go for matte photos over glossy.

we did ours from Jessops just before they went bust. I think this is one of the services they still offer though in their relaunched state, and well worth checking out if the prices are still as reasonable as they were when we did ours. Just make sure you check the alignment of photographs before you finalise the upload - we have a few comedy ones in our book which are slightly off-set.

I was using Blurb, download the software locally. It was working out OK until my then PC died - took my HDD so I can't comment on the final product.

I have seen friends versions and the general consensus has been that the photo jackets (i.e. covers) are worth the price. As to longevity of the prints , no idea.

Jessops still do photo books too, though, and they offer a £9.99 design service which sounds good. They promise to have "professional designers" create the book, and it doesn't go into print until you're completely happy with it.
