Colour Acuity Test
They're presenting this as a colour acuity test where you can compare your results to others of a similar gender/age democraphic, but really I think they're trying to sell calibration tools ;)
It's still interesting though to check your monitor/eye and in which bits of the spectrum you have a loss of accuracy:

Re: Colour Acuity Test
Yeah I did this the other day and got a 0 (perfect).
At the time of doing i did think to myself that is was more of a test of monitor & patience than of colour blindness... Well least I put my dell ultra sharp to use :p

Re: Colour Acuity Test
I scored 19, but I'll admit I was finding it a tad tedious by the last 'bar' so my attention span was variable.

Re: Colour Acuity Test
Hmm, I'd say that test is pretty meaningless unless the monitor is calibrated My monitor has adjustments for colour temperature and user settings for different sources, the 'film' setting is noticeably 'warmer' in tones which may skew the results.
There is a case for calibrating monitors - interestingly I was at a trade exhibition recently and it was suggested that monitors should be calibrated monthly if you are doing serious video work because the colour balance drifts over time.
I guess for domestic use it doesn't matter much - the eye/brain combination seems to compensate, but when colour repeatability is important, calibration is a must.

Re: Colour Acuity Test
I scored 3 - maybe I should have waited for my monitor to warm up :p (actually not too bad for a 6-bit IPS)
