Ruddy darter is my favourite!
I think the backgrounds could do with a little work, they seem a little too bright but that might be because I'm using an uncalibrated monitor at the moment.
In terms of the pictures I was torn between the ruddy darter and the comma on blackberries, I think for me it the comma just beats the darter.
I think the almost-in-focus blackberry on the right is too distracting in the Comma pic. I love the Brimstone photo though!
Better than anything I can muster - they all got my vote.
Ruddy darter from me. Like the seamless background which is not distracting at all. Plus the focus on the main body leaving other body attachments slowly going out of focus makes the picture for me a bit dynamic (which I like personally).
