HEXUS member wins UK Landscape Photographer of the Year 2014 !!

Guys, I just want to bring a fellow HEXUS member to your attention:

Kushtibari - aka Mark Littlejohn, has just been named Landscape Photographer of the Year 2014. Sunday Times has it. Not seen him post in here for a while, but regulars will recognise his "lonely mist covered tree on the Lake District shoreline" landmark type of shot.

Aye. Its been one of those days. Weirdly surreal and my Facebook photography page has been going crackers. I'd managed to get five commendations over the last three years in the UK Landscape Photography thing but this year has been crackers. Overall winner, two highly commended and one commended.

This was the first place I started posting photos and I went from there. Big thanks to the guys that supported me and commented back then.

Cheers again guys - watched David Ward on a webinar last night and he was asked what was the last picture that made him go WOW. He said "It was Mark Littlejohns yesterday". If I can wow David Ward that will do me. Yesterday was completely mental with offers of work and enquiries and I'm on the local ITV news tonight. I'm refusing to shave though. I'm a landscape photographer - its my winter coat :-)

I would absolutely only be using them for personal use. However I understand if you're not wanting to distribute your work.
