Not exactly high tech compared to what most on here will own i'm sure, but it has to be better than trying to takes pics on my phone when i'm out with the dog. Couple of times recently as well we've come into close contact with a buzzard on the ground but my phone just won't zoom far enough in to get a decent pic...
Yes you will enjoy that camera.
Great little camera - just what you need for those sudden moments out on a walk when you have to look after the dogs as well as looking out for the wildlife.

Ahh, the joys of shopping online. Lovely new camera delivered just now, memory card and case to follow in about a weeks time!
Actually decided against the H300 myself.. Ordered a Canon EOS 1200D with a 18-55 Lens which will come in at £204 after Cashback. I'm happy with that! Got a 32Gb SD card coming tomorrow and will look in the Jan Sales for a suitable bag. Here's to learning more about photography!
Also... Gotta love online shopping!
