    Re: Online Photo Sharing

    I personally use Puush.

Note however they had a hacking incident back in April where a malicious update got pushed out. Some people got keylogged because of it but most users were actually unaffected. They've tightened up security since then but still worth keeping in mind.

I've yet to find anything as easy to use as Puush however, though things such as ShareX and MyImgur are supposed to be quite close.

Ummm .... certain newspapers and magazines. But I guess that wasn't what you meant.

In relation to just "sharing" photo's online, I don't. What isn't shared, can't be nicked. Or not as easily, at least.

Google+ seems a bit too social media for my liking.

I just want a basic gallery type thing that I can have separate albums on.

I used to use photo bucket, but it's become quite glitchy the past few years, often failing to upload multiple photos at once.

ShareX and MyImgur as well as the other alternatives are clients for one click uploads to Imgur, though ShareX supports others too. Puush is similar, quicker to use IMO but only uploads to their own gallery and no way to create albums that I've found yet, even though the web UI sort of suggests you can.

If you're just looking to upload occasional files go with Imgur probably. If you're going to be uploading frequently go for a client like ShareX that adds right click prompts as well as screen capture mode.

    oh galleries? like this?

you don't have to to do the social media thing if you don't want to on G+ just stores your photos for free, you don't even have to share them if you don't want to

    Re: Online Photo Sharing

Yeah, thanks Bobster. I did have a look at your Google+ page and it was the bits like "commented on a video on youtube" and having "followers" and "in his circles" put me off. But I did like the photos page and what you have posted above looks promising.

Thanks to others for their suggestions as well.
