Good Digital Camera for around £100...

Girlfriends birthday is coming up soon, this would be be a good pressy for the both of us

Budget is limited to £100, what can I get for that sort of money?

It has to be decent at close up shots as she wants to use it to mainly take pictures of her lizards (leopard geckos).

I like the Canon range of compact digital camera (we have the A85).

My first digital camera was a Fuji and I was impressed with that too. Sometimes the official Fuji Refurbished Digitial Camera Shop is worth checking out. Best buy atm on that site is the A330 £72.49 incl. shipping.

However after reading the reviews at Steve's Digicams I'd still go for the A400.
