    Who has a Digital Camera?

I got one - get this, I never print out the pictures.

    So - I hunted one out - and found a source! www.photobox.co.uk

For a limited period only - if you sign up you will get 10 credits on your account allowing free prints (that is, if you put HEXUS as the referrer!)

I am trying to get some more bonus credits for you guys now!

    Yeah, I used www.snapfish.co.uk

Very good, I used a rererar thing when I signed up and got 20 free credits, but if you sign up normally you get 10 I think, it costs 99p for delivery, and 10p for the normal sized photo's (1 credit = 10p), so I got 20 pics for 99p basicly, really good.

    I use jessops...

Walk into store, insert media into photo-station-thingumy-machine, choose the ones I want at which sizes, print the receipt, head over to the counter and pay - 24hrs later go back and pick up the bag of photos.

Top quality printing, and when you take into account p&p pricing for the internet lot, just as cheap, if not cheaper, than the internet printers. Also, if you print a LOT of them at once (we did about 400 the other week ) the prices get discounted beyond what is shown on their adverts (ended up being cheaper to add a few extra prints to take it over the various price marks)

I highly recommend it if there's a jessops near you!

im pretty sure it is just a general amount of storage, not per file. you get more storage the more money you spend too.

I got a 15x10" print from jessops which looked excellent - not bad for 3mpix compact zoom

Anyone in Newcastle upon Tyne should head up to Spectrum on St Marys place its a dirt cheap printing place for students that also specialises in digital photography. They have managed to print of a stack of digital prints for me during a lunch hour.

I would second Jessops. Got a bunch of stuff printed there a couple of months back and selected the 1-hour service, the technicial behind the counter said he would have them done in 20min as there was a gap in the job que. Good quality prints and a good price if you ask me.

Also gave the Kodak machines in boots a try...horrible, horrible, horrible!!! yeah it's instant (you get them out the bottom of the machine here and then) but oh boy do they look bad.

I use Boots 50 for £5 offer, it takes 24 hours but my bus stop at work isn't far so I put them in first thing. Fuji system, seems to make half decent shots look good and good shots great.

Perhaps boots will do an okay job, but if you want better than 6x4 prints (it's amazing how much bigger 7x5 prints look!) boots aren't much use. Plus their system isn't as good/flexible as a proper printshops - you have to have only the photos you want printing on the CD-R you take in, and you have to manually have made file copies of the ones you need multiple prints for. I tried them once, but now I choose by quality and flexibility over price to some extent
