High pitch noise on tx550m when plugged in but system is off, having post issues too.

Im currently trying to troubleshoot my new build, where i get posts, but then powering down and up results in no post. A possible idea of the issue i had was that the power supply makes a high pitch noise when its on and plugged in but the system is not on. When the system is turned on (all the fans spin and whatnot, even without post), this noise goes away, but when i tell the system to shut off, the high pitch noise comes back. Its not majorly loud but im not sure if its a faulty unit or something.

btw more info on my troubleshooting here http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/com...nt_post_again/ any help would be appreciated, but could this be the psu problem or something else, every component in the bios is fine btw.

I'm having a similar issue with my TX650M. When I shutdown I can't POST, does nothing at all, I have to unplug my PSU wait around 20mins and plug it back in before I can do anything. I have contacted where I purchased it and received an RMA.

Sounds like you have a failing capacitor R.M.A. the unit
