    AX760i Self-Test only clicks

The self-test function on the AX760i results only in a click. All modular cables are unplugged, while the PSU itself is plugged into the mains with the switch turned to on.

I bring this up as I'm also hearing grinding in my new build that speeds up and speeds down in time with fans in the case during start-up/shutdown, and I believe it's either the PSU or the H80i pump/fans.

When your are doing the self test, are you holding the self test button down? Make sure to hold it down, that way the fan will start running.

The grinding noise might be coming from the pump. If its a new unit, let it run for a couple of days to break it in and see if the noise goes away.

Ah, I guess that was it. I just thought it might have been a poorly fitting fan or it hitting against something, but it was indeed the pump (air bubbles, I'm assuming?).

I let it run on its side for a few hours and the systems been perfect.

Yup, most new units would typically have air trapped inside the loop, which is not uncommon to most new coolers.
