Do OCuk sell power supplies by any chance?

They sell some but are quite expensive? Will need to research there own brand as they are quite cheap.

I think what he meant was, the people you're paying for a PSU, probably aren't the best ones to ask for impartial advice on how much money you should give them.

I've never come across any reviews of those own-brand PSUs so I'd be wary of them.

Well sorry I should have been clear - the OCuk technician just recommended to get an 850w but no brand.

I am actually looking mostly on Dabs / scan as they have a wider and better priced selection

750W will be more than enough.

THIS is a good read, regardless of what brand you choose.

This is good too, especially the Geeks3D database for doing some research on your GPUs. IF you were able to max both of them at 100% load which you will not do gaming, you'd be using 460w leaving 290w to run the rest of the system. 750w is plenty, even if you OC.

    Re: Is 750W enough?

Yellowbeard - excellent thanks! Both were very informative and the calculator was a nice touch. I may be able to save £20 on my gpu which will push my budget for the psu up to £100. This helps greatly for getting a decent one!

    Re: Is 750W enough?

Just to let everyone know (if they are interested) i decided with the '750W Seasonic G-750 Hybrid Modular'. £100 I felt was a good price for Seasonic and ticked all my boxes!

    Re: Is 750W enough?

I think it will be enough.I think it can run the selected GPU greatly.
