    Zepto Znote - Any opinions?

Looking for midrange-ish sub £1000 gameing laptop and I've stumbled across the Zepto Znote 6625WD power
    http://uk.zepto.com/Shop/Notebook.aspx?notebookid=636

I've not seen or heard of Zepto before, anyone with any experience of these?
What are Zepto like for build quality?

Zepto are much bigger in Europe but they are very reputable and good build quality etc..

There are Zepto UK representatives to answer any queries you may have in the forum above.

They offer a 7 day return policy so if you don't like it you can return (just pay shipping)... I returned mine. It was very noisy, had bad backlight bleeding and if you used it outside sunlight actually shone THROUGH the cheap casing. Plus the keyboard wasn't very comfortable. Overall I wasn't impressed.

Returned for a Asus G1S - £200 more expensive but definitely worth it.

interesting to hear, as have been on the point of buying one for a week now. Researched it and the alternatives (Dell, Rock, Rizeon, Asus) but came up trumps with the 6625WD. Waiting for new C/C to come through, otherwise would have placed order already.

Brian, am intrigued by your problems. Have been keeping an eye on their forum at www.notebookreview.com and yours is the first to have such blatant problems. Am hoping yours is not the norm..............

FWIW, was initially going for the Rock Pegasus 670 but they been having major teething problems, plus their screen isn't glossy, and price is higher

http://forum.notebookreview.com/show...4&postcount=47 <-- There's an example image of the light shining through (in bright places sunlight shines through the casing onto the back of the screen, similar to that picture. Although according to them it only happens with the white Zepto 6324W
