    Dell Optiplex GX280

    mate gave me it saying he was blue screening on boot up but i cant even get it to post it just beeps at me... any ideas?

    I've seen one of these cook its CPU..welded it's self to the hsf. i've also seen about 15 of them blow power supplies so that's what I would be checking first.

    Changed the cpu and still just beeps. If it was psu surely i wud get nothing?

    Normally memory when you get nothing and just beeps. Check the 4 LEDs on the back and see what they're doing. Google should be able to tell you what they mean
