Depends on what you want to do really. Gaming, photo/video editing? Different needs are best suited to different types of hardware .

what res do you game at?

also, download cpuz and take screenies of all the tabs and then post them (when you have 5 posts) is much less boring than reading through DXdiag reports

so starting at basics you have:

    WD 640GB AAKs
    E4700
    3GB RAM (or 4GB under a 32bit OS)?
    ATi HD 3450

    Vista Home Prem 32bit?

in that case, a HD 4850 will easily exceed your requirements, and games don't currently use >2.4GHz dualie but you could grab a decent Heatsink and overclock the processor

are you running a 32bit or 64bit OS?

I would just upgrade the graphics card and you'd be able to play pretty much any game, since you are running at quite a low res.

righty ho, theres no pont getting anymore RAM then, as it will be largely unusable...

but games nowadays are largely GFX card limited and not CPU, obv this becomes more obvious at higher resolutions but the same is still largely true at lower res'

    Yeh thats what i thought.

but I'm using MATX mobo (great ) so i only have 1 PCI-E x16 and then i have to make sure the card will fit into the case.

multi GPU isn't worth it in most cases anyway...

all you need to watch for is card lengths....
