Interesting, looks like a MBA and MBP hybrid on the inside now.
ULV IB CPU + GT620M/HD4000 + matte 13.3" 1080p IPS screen.

I think i just found my next notebook
I'm still tempted by the unibody ones (and maybe eve the 11" one) and I'd like to see the ASUS take on an AMD version as well. For a portable (light) gaming system it does look truly awesome though. It's all just building up to some serious competition with everyone claiming the thinnest and lightest, fingers crossed this will push down the prices a bit!
Only picked up a UX21E a few weeks back and I'm very pleased with it.
If that screen's as good as everybody says it is, I definitely want this. The ability to upgrade to 10GB RAM swings it for me when comparing with the UX31A, and the Optimus graphics and the option of adding an after-market 2.5" SSD don't hurt either.
The UX32VD seems to do something strange with RAM modules though: adding anything with CAS latency <11 causes it to reduce the memory frequency so that the 2GB soldered-on RAM can match the CAS of the inserted stick. (Tip for Scan: if you stock this laptop, please can we have 8GB 1600MHz CL11 DDR3 SODIMMs to go with it?)
If you can't keep up, stick with reality...
Anyone seen this for sale in the UK anywhere?
