Potential New Gaming PC [Look Inside]

    Gaming PC (Budget £800-£900):

Okay, I've recently gone onto another website and I'm able to get the following specs for a computer. I've not been able to get close to these specs for a similar computer on scan.co.uk. The computer will be used for hardcore gaming like SC2, Skyrim, WoW, COD4, MW3, BF3 and other graphically demanding games. I do not need a graphics card right now. I will be using my GTX 560TI until i'm able to purchase a Radeon 7970. I will also do a lot of streaming. The processor in this is able to be overclocked to 4.6ghz so the PC from Scan has to be able to do that. The computer has to run relatively quiet - the Noctua is good at doing this apparently.

I don't need ANY peripherals. I don't really have a need to use SLi as I will simply be buying single GPU cards for the foreseeable future.
120GB FAST SSD is an absolute must.
I do not need a Secondary 1TB HDD of any sort.
I want the system to be stable temperature wise under OC strain.

Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator Quiet CPU Cooler £ 64.54
    8GB Mushkin Blackline LV #996988 (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz 9-9-9-24 £ 37.67
Cooler Master SickleFLow Blue LED Quiet Case Fan 120mm £ 4.79
550W XFX Core Edition 80PLUS Bronze Power Supply (Seasonic OEM) £ 48.00
    Gigabyte X79-UD3 Intel X79 Socket 2011 DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard £ 171.59
IN WIN Dragon Rider Black Full Tower Chassis w/ USB3.0 £ 95.99
    Intel Core i7-3820 3.60GHz (Sandy Bridge-E) Socket LGA2011 Processor - OEM £ 227.16
    Mushkin Chronos 90GB 2.5" SATA-III Solid State Hard Drive £ 95.99

    Total Price: £745.72 + £60 build fee = £820 or so.

Thanks for reading, any help would be massively appreciated. Any questions, please just ask,
    Serafyn.

I've managed to build a similar system revolving around the 3820 overclocked motherboard bundle for £551 however I'm not entirely sure whether I need more cooling, whether the case I chose is compatible etc...

I'm just generally confused with what's good and what isn't and what's compatible and what isn't!!!

motherboard looks good but only has 2 x 6Gb sata III connections, would that be a problem in the future as you've mentioned a 120GB SSD sata drive and also a 90GB SSD sata drive?

Might be worth changing your PSU for a gold rated one...more efficient PSU = less heat produced = less crashes = happy gamer

What Graphics card are you using with this combination?

Other than that sounds like a good machine!
