    Advice for home computers

    Hi all,

Looking for opinions, in the garage I currently have a computer running win xp, it is a e2180 intel with 2gb ram, it has 3tb hard drive and is on 24/7. I use it to stream movies from my library to my media centre in the front room

In the from room I have a AMD quad core 3.2 ghz. 8gb ram. 60 gb SSD. this is the only purpose of this computer, it does have a 5850 graphics card to pass hdmi audio and video through to the amp.

I am thinking of reconfiguring. I am thinking that the computer in the garage should be the more powerful and the media centre could be a much lesser machine.

Using my existing components what would you recommend in the reconfig of the components?
    I am the gadget man!

Unless you want to get anything new in would just leave things as there are tbh, no noticeable gains from switching things about really, especially if the pc in your garage is on all the time
