    Best Laptop for ~£300?

I've been asked by a friend to find a laptop in this price bracket and its fairly hard. My firend, for whatever reason, wants to avoid Dixons et al because she had a bad expereince at PCw once - i don't know, either.

I'm trying my hardest to stay away from Packard Bell due to bad experiences and an apparent consensus against them, but most laptops in this area appear to roll with the E-350 as well - which is pants, really.

    Any ideas?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

That Llano laptop deal on Ebay a while back would have been great - maybe see if the seller is still selling them??

Dell outlet ? You may have to wait a bit, but I recently got an i3 IB, with 4gb Ram with an NV 525 for £309.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

That laptop is pretty good value for money if I don't say so myself, it is also only £249.

A laptop that is very stylish and thin indeed.

"Knockout" recommended this item - http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Laptops/buy...-Laptop/123457

Overall, I really feel the top Lenovo laptops is good value for money and if you're looking for something a bit fancier: the Asus one will exceed in style but may or may not be as good performance-wise.

    Re: Best Laptop for ~£300?

One of my friends recently asked me something very similar, if their budget can stretch an extra £24.

    There's this:
    Lenovo B570e 5215 Core i3-2330m 4GB 500GB DVD-Writer 15.6" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
    @ dabs for £323.98
