There are quite a lot of reviews by reputable reviewers: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/reviews/

I can't say I have heard of them though, but looking at the reviews I'd say there legit enough and their systems seem in favor with the reviewers.

Problem is with any review machine it's usually sent out knowing it's going to be a review unit, so extra care might be taken.

Can't say I've used them though. I have brought pre-laptops from Novatech and they seem to compare better on value for money and components used.

With any pre-build goes without saying watch for the cost cutting on unbranded RAM/PSU mainly. If they state brands of these two components they are quite good in my book.

    PaulBrum,

I have one of their laptops, it's a good solid machine, and when the touchpad was being bolshie, {oversensitive, responding to fingers passing too close, not touching, just close} they sorted it from base down the Internet using one of the 'load this up, and we will change your settings' programs.

So Good After Sales Service in my case too.

I bought a laptop from them several weeks ago (Genesis III) and can only say they were excellent from start to finish, great customer service and very good laptops.

    Re: pcspecialist.co.uk

My current machine I am still using after 5-6 years was built by them. Still ticking away with no real upgrades (7600GT, e6400, asus p5b). Looking now though there prices are a little more than the competition.
