Laptop from well known company ~£300

I am looking for a laptop for my girlfriend for under £300,this is quite easy to find something which will match her needs, facebook mainly, but she wants it to be from a well known website or company. Anythign from dell or any other big companies, would be good other than amzaon and ebay, she's scared over whether they will scam her. Anything with 15"+ sceen will do! any help would be great!
