Gaming Laptop - £1500 max budget - Help Please

    Hey Guys,

I'm looking to get a good gaming laptop for around £1500, the laptop will be required to play the usual high-end new released games (Crysis 3 ready hopefully XD). Does anyone have any recommendations on where would be a good starting point to look??

    Regards,
    Rookie

I was very close to buying a MSI GE60, fairly light, great hardware and reasonably priced. Not sure what screen size you want. But 1080p is ofc a must.

Although with that budget you could go much higher, probably a 670m or 680m Gigabyte and msi both make great gaming laptops.

You can also look at custom with http://3xs.scan.co.uk/Category.asp?S...rCategoryID=48 3xs

    and Novatech http://www.novatech.co.uk/laptop/gam...,43,5,6,32&o=2

    Take your pick ;p

This laptop is very good, don't be put off by the ocuk label, it comes with a 2 year warranty like many other laptops, you can customise it and it comes with borderlands 2 key and a assassin creed 3 keyOcUK Destroyer

To be able to play crysis, change the processor to an i7, choose 8gb ram, and the rest is up to you.

If you wish to completely customise a laptop go to pc specialists (google it)

Try the series 7 gamer, friend has recently bought one and seems to be pretty happy. They are pretty well put together and offer a decent spec for the money:

    17.3" 1920 x 1080
    Intel Core i7 3610QM - 2.3 GHz
    16 GB DDR3 RAM
    1.5 TB 7200 RPM HDD (w/ 8 GB flash)
    GeForce GTX 675M (2 GB GDDR5)

    Available for around ~£1400.
