    Re: My PC

A valuation is OK - from members opinions, but you cannot sell other than through the for sale section which you may use when you have over 1`00 useful and constructive posts.

PCs are very hard to value - especially home built ones - you may be better off selling the component parts individually.

I'm not looking to sell it on forum only for a point to start as by myself I can guess how much I can get.

You want shot of the whole lot or planning to upgrade? It depends where you sell also.

I would stick the 5850 on ebay. check the completed listed; you'll be pleasantly suprised. Search for the completed listings for everything and then new on froogle. You should clear 2/3 new value for demand parts however resale on cases and coolers is bad. You might get 350 for the lot as a wild guess.

    Re: My PC

Personally, I would sell it sell it in bits, especially with the price of ram right now @ £56 for 8gb, probably just over £40 for each 1.5tb drive and over £50 for the SSD. £70-£80 for the case, and just seen a few 5850's for between £50 and £80. Cooler's arn't worth much so would sell the board and cpu with cooler as a bundle. You may get lucky with the PSU as long as the buyers stay away from the amazon reviews on that model and my last DG went for £15. Selling as a hole system is hit or miss as not all those components will be to everyone's taste. If you really intend to sell as a hole, take the 2 1.5tb drives out and 8gb of ram.

    Re: My PC

Thx guys for help. I'm not planning a upgrade as I have bought a Lenovo Y500 and is more then enough for me. I have 120ssd+1.5TB+1.5TB+640GB black. I have one more which is 4TB that I'm keeping. I don't want to sell its for parts as its a really good machine fast CPU lots of ram and F****loads of storage graphic card is not the best but it will run 99% of games in 1080p. As for selling cooler and fans they are really good quality. If I when to sell it for parts it would be a bad idea.
