Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
Just seen the Razer facebook post about their new gaming laptop. Seems ok, Haswell cpu, nvidia 765M graphics, supposedly thinner than a dime (but they few narrower than the face of a dime)
The price supposedly is $2500. Not sure if that's accurate.
Anyone looking to get one when it's out?
Re: Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
Its very overpriced for a gaming laptop imo, msi seem like the best bet or asus rog.

Gillette are known to make good ones.

@Cat, personally I prefer the Sainsbury's 6-blade razor. You can shave your b*llocks in one stroke.
I think the Blade is form over function. If you want performance, go custom. I recently got a laptop from Pwnpcs and I was staggered when it beat my desktop (1090T@3.6, GTX460 GS GLH) in 3DMark Vantage. And if I may... :p

Re: Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
Just shows that the Haswell i5 and 765M can fit happily inside an ultrabook... so its only a matter of time before every other ultrabook maker will do the same (for cheaper if less attractive).
Paired with the new higher than retina displays that Samsung were showing off last month there should be some cool portable gaming coming out this year ;)
Re: Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
Not to mention a pretty beefy battery and still a light device. For $1,799 it's not too bad either for this kind of thing.
I'm interested, though think the lack of ethernet and very poor display will stop me buying at the moment. Sort those things out and I'd be very tempted.
Re: Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
Is the 1800 dollar price official? Sounds a little more reasonable than the 2500 I had heard.
Re: Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
Looks like its starting price of $1799 for the 14incher and $2300/2500 for the big brother v2.

Re: Anyone looking to get the Razer Blade?
The GTX765M is probably not going to boost very high in that chassis as it has temperature dependent boosting.
