laptop for travel... lenovo z585 or intel?

    Hello fellow Hexites!

I'm planning on getting out of the country after I get my TEFL in about 6months. And I need your help in recommending an apt machine.

I need a laptop, but as much as I'd like a super cheap and cheerful netbook, I need something that runs photoshop/painter too (bringing my wacom along). I'll be mainly lesson planning and maybe playing the odd game in any spare time. Because of this I thought the AMD laptops might be better value than Intel options.

    Budget of say £400...

I've seen a Lenovo z585 with A8 cpu for about £390 and there's another z585 with an A10 cpu for about £450. Is the A10 equipped cpu much better than the A8?

Or would you not recommend an AMD machine anyway?

    All the best,

    Rich

That's the cheapest I can find the A10 version £470.

Whereas the A8 version is about £390. Is the better processor really worth an extra £80? I could swap the HDD out for an SSD for that...

So long as it runs Photoshop and a few games I'm happy really. Any alternatives or suggestions appreciated guys.
